Why so many builds? Because each release of MS SQL Server comes with a new version of SMO, which is an API that SqlSpec uses. Each SqlSpec build above is compiled against a different SMO version.

SMO is backward compatible. So:

Regarding all other DBMS other than SQL Server, the downloads are identical. So if all you are interested in is Oracle, DB2, Sybase, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Informix, etc, choose the 2014 download.


Beta

SqlSpec is under continuous development. Whenever we finish a new feature or fix a bug we release it in a beta.
