SqlSpec 3.8 works against 2008, but some things don't work correctly. For example, it does not fetch DDL for tables.

If you have SQL Server 2008, please try the beta here: http://elsasoft.org/sqlspec_beta_2008.zip

This beta is compiled against the 2008 version of SMO - it works against any 2000, 2005, or 2008 server, express through enterprise. Note that in order to use this beta though, you must have the 2008 client tools installed. For example, it will run on any machine where SSMS 2008 is installed.

If you don't have the 2008 client tools installed, then you should use this build: http://elsasoft.org/sqlspec_beta.zip - this build is compiled against the SMO/AMO 2005 binaries so it does not fully support 2008.
